Jurien Bay District High School currently has 258 students enrolled; 141 students in primary school and 117 students in high school (all according to the latest census).
We have two full time resident doctors and a full time dentist & physiotherapist, along with many visiting specialists. There’s also 24 hours A&E with a two day bed ward and a separate Wellness Centre.
Jurien Bay was once just a crayfishing town, however now all major government departments are based here; the Shire of Dandaragan, DEC, DPAW, Western Power, Department of Fisheries, Sea Search & Rescue, St John Ambulance, & the Fire Brigade, just to name a few.
